What happened
The Master’s gallery turns trauma and counterfactual worlds into installations. Roxi joins the travellers at the Vault of Kheren Vorr. The exhibition culminates in WITHOUT HIM, an attempted erasure of the Doctor that attacks the continuity of the universe around him.
Where the book leaves us
The Doctor’s pencil declaration restores his presence and the timeline. The crew escape while the Master vanishes into shadow; his final fate is not established as death. The pencil remains as a modest object after an extravagant assault. Roxi continues with the Doctor, Raven and MINO into the next adventure.
