The opening situation
Miridell’s crystal city welcomes a rare Carnival. The travellers arrive among spectacle and pleasure, but the relationship between performer and spectator soon becomes troubling. This is a compact, uncanny adventure in which mirrors and applause offer less reassurance than they first seem to.
