Jun
A journey that gives teaching somewhere to take root.
An introduction
Jun becomes involved in the Hong Kong investigation and joins the travellers when that adventure closes. The next book takes the new company to Kharon Spire, where missing workers and an industrial danger require attention to the people who live with the machinery.
Why this encounter matters
The shift from Hong Kong to The Iron Orchard connects questions of evidence with questions of labour. The crew can help interrupt a threat, but the people left behind need knowledge and practical capacity that last longer than a visit.

Later developments · spoilers through Book 17
Jun chooses to stay and teach at the end of The Iron Orchard. This is an ongoing purpose rather than a disappearance from relevance. Yara’s arrival aboard the TARDIS changes the company again; it does not erase the value of Jun’s work.
