This is a reading aid, not a claim that every name has one compulsory sound. Capitals mark the stressed syllable. “Established” means the familiar pronunciation used for a term inherited from Doctor Who; “house” means the reading adopted for this project’s original name. No audio is attached to this first edition.

How to use the guide

Use the spoken form that keeps you moving through the sentence. The house readings are editorial choices, not linguistic rules imposed on readers or performers. Where a later authorised performance establishes a different sound, the guide can change without changing the prose.
